In a world striving for unity, it is imperative to address and eradicate the seeds of hate that threaten the fabric of our society. The ADF is working to empower Black immigrant communities by fostering understanding, empathy, and harmony. The African Diaspora Foundation (ADF) is poised to lead this initiative, leveraging its expertise and partnerships to create a transformative and sustainable impact.
 

Understanding the Issue

 
Hate, in any form, poses a significant threat to social cohesion. The Black immigrant communities, while resilient and vibrant, has faced its share of challenges, including discrimination and prejudice. This campaign addresses the root causes of hate by promoting dialogue, education, and cultural exchange as catalysts for change.
 

Strategic Programs 

 
  • Research and Analysis of hate incidents within Black immigrant communities
  • Grow a Consortium of Black Immigrant Community Based Organizations (CBOs) that has a common cause of protecting and advancing its members.  Through the consortium resources and information are shared.
  • Cultural Competency training through peace curricula fostering mutual understanding between communities.
  • Community Engagement events to bring diverse groups together with the Black Immigrant communities
  • Hate Crime Registry raises awareness about Hate Crimes against Black immigrants and promote a culture of inclusivity within your community by encouraging individuals to register hate crimes with the ADF.
