MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS

The African Diaspora Foundation

The African Diaspora Foundation is dedicated to developing peace centers, peace curricula, teachers, and to supporting outreach programs that promote peace, nonviolence and reconciliation in Africa and other parts of the world. Ultimately we strive to empower individuals to have a choice to choose peace instead of violence to build stable communities and progressive nations.

We are committed to developing a coalition of national and international leaders and organizations to address critical issues concerning peace, nonviolence, and reconciliation in Africa. As a non-profit organization, ADF has proposed in partnership with United States universities, to develop peace education centers in Los Angeles and in Africa offering a curriculum aimed at overcoming issues that threaten survival in countries affected by conflict. ADF’s plan is that this model program will become an international force in preparing educators for the key task of making peace, nonviolence and reconciliation a working reality.

International Society of Black Latinos

The mission of the International Society of Black Latinos (ISBL) is to educate the local and broader communities of the existence of Afro-Latinos and the influence that the African Diaspora has had and continues to have on the Latin cultures around the world. Our secondary goal is to reach our communities and youth, particularly, but not limited to, our high risk populations in the inner cities, through workshops and seminars, in local schools and businesses, that reinforce the importance of building a stronger and unified community. Our emphasis is on academia, self-awareness, social acceptance (tolerance), character building, cultural and artistic enrichment and leadership development.

African Fashion and Music Festival

Our ongoing mission is to improve and inspire social change by partnering with individuals who provide a life-changing approach to building stronger African Immigrant communities in the diaspora.

We are devoted to preserving and protecting our community. Our mission is to support and work with the African immigrant communities to promote, encourage and foster community building by providing a safe housing transition which includes helping them to find quality and empowering programs to help navigate the challenges of migrating.

Our organization promotes programs designed to enhance community building and improve social quality of life amongst African Immigrants. We provide temporary shelter, food, and clothing; and help African Immigrants secure a job with very little training.
